This assignment is to be submitted electronically using Blackboard
1. This assignment must be submitted electronically by 2pm on the submission date
2. To submit electronically you must upload your work to the e-submission area within the Blackboard module concerned. Click Submit> Browse (find the correct file to upload) Upload> Submit
3. You can resubmit your work as many times as you like until the deadline. If you choose to resubmit, your earlier submission will be replaced, and you will NOT receive an Originality Report until 24 hours from when the submission was made.
4. You will receive a digital receipt as proof of submission. This will be sent to your Bucks e-mail address; please keep this for reference. (make sure you have e mail forwarding http://bucks.ac.uk/forward so that you receive this e mail proof)
5. You are reminded of the University’s regulations on cheating and plagiarism. In submitting your assignment you are acknowledging that you have read and understood these regulations.
6. Late submission within 10 working days of the deadline will result in the mark being capped at a maximum of 40%. Beyond this time the work will not be marked.

Instructions to Students:
You are to submit one report (soft copy to Turnitin, hard copy to E2.08) which demonstrates the management of your client project.
This assignment will be capped at 40% as you were originally assigned to a group, but have been removed from that group due to not meeting the terms of the partnership agreement.
This assignment tests the following Learning Outcomes for the module:
Compare and contrast the roles of business functions in an organisation, their interdependency and impact on the business
Identify and justify the skills required for project implementation and evaluation, operating as a self-managing professional – using the student’s chosen specialism where appropriate
Apply an evaluative approach to a range of practical business data, sources of information for delivery of the project
Perform efficiently and effectively as a collaborative member of a working group and as an added value contributor to the organisation assigned to the students.
The Assignment Task:
Your assignment is to undertake a review of degree level apprenticeships.
1. Explain the different types of apprenticeships available
2. Review what apprenticeships are available at different universities
3. Make recommendations for Bucks Business School regarding apprenticeships
The report should be 2000 words.
Your report should adopt an evaluative approach and include consideration of:
• what research you undertook to respond to the problem
• what solutions you are suggesting and why these are considered appropriate.
