Assessment Brief:
Presentation of the Industry Consulting Project Report should be made to both representatives
of the organisation under review and the College associated with the study of the subject.
The presentation of an Industry Consulting Project Report should:
1. Be provided on an individual basis with the student presenting to a panel of interested
parties from the organisation and the College that they have studied the subject
2. Take the form of a series of slides, or Prezi summarising the formal Industry Consulting
Project Report submitted digitally via the relevant College portal.
3. Include no more than fifteen (15) slides if a Power Point presentation is used. The
structure of slides should be in landscape format and make use of a majority of white
space on slides.
4. Be provided in face-to-face or online form with the presentation organised by the student
5. The student is required to arrange a venue, format and plan the use of suitable
technology for the conduct of the presentation in conjunction with their IND 301A lecturer
6. Give a summary of the report, using a formal presentation format. Lasting no more than
30 minutes including 10 minutes of question time
7. Include conclusions reached on the organisation and suggested recommendations for
improvement and changes to be made by organisation,
The Project Report is to be lodged via the College Portal at the end of week 11 and so this
presentation is scheduled for week 12. Some F2F students will need to present in week 11 as
there would be insufficient time in a three-hour session for all students to present. The benefit of
presenting in week 11 is the student will receive some verbal feedback from the lecturer prior to
submitting their report (at the end of week 11). The planning for the presentation should include
the student and lecturer reaching agreement on the venue, technology, timing, and nature of
presentation no later than week 10 of the term.
This assignment must be prepared and submitted, presented by the individual student, the work
you submit must be your own, and based on your own work.© Laureate International Universities 2016
