Prepare a preliminary review and assessment of the key urban

planning and design issues, variables, constraints, requirements and opportunities for the location of 25,000 additional residents into your Group's study Precinct. Natural resource, socio-cultural and infrastructure variables can be selected from those available from the GIS database layers provided or you may identify others that should be assessed. Provide an initial inventory and assessment of at least 6 key resource inventory/assessment maps at a 1:25,000 scale using ArcGIS (The ArcGIS Lab sessions will demonstrate how to do this.) and explanatory text. Support and justify your selection of key issues and factors with references to key reports and journal articles, to be provided in a References cited section on the last page of the report. All mapping should be in colour and should use the provided map and title block layout provided.
