Confidence intervals for medians: One common approach that is used to obtain a confidence interval for a median is use bootstrapping. This involves resampling from a data set to obtain an understading Of the variability of the estimator. However, coverage properties of bootstrapped Confidence intervals can be poor. A starting point of this project will be to explore, Via simulation, the coverage probability of interval estimators for the median via bootstrapping.
