• Your Role:
– Senior Project Manager at Delphi Printers & Peripherals, a small electronics
and computer peripheral manufacturer.
• Your Task:
– You need to assemble and direct a product design team to develop a new
and innovative consumer printer. Delphi has intelligence suggesting that a
competitor is launching a printer with similar features and capabilities in 6
months, putting pressure on you and your team to develop a new printer
that can compete effectively against the competitor's offering.
• Simulation Goals:
– Successfully complete the assigned project.
– Your project success will be rated on the following metrics:
1) scope
2) schedule
3) resources (cost)
4) team process (morale & stress)
• Simulation Timeline:
– The simulation will continue until either you successfully complete the
project at hand or you decide to prematurely end your project.Research your project

1. Click on the Prepare tab links to
research how the project management
process works at Delphi.Submit your initial decisions
2. Choose how many weeks you'd like to advance
the simulation and click "Submit Decisions".

graphs and
tables for a
different view
of the data.Monitor and adjust project parameters
Continue until you successfully complete the project.
After analyzing the data, adjust your project
parameters by accessing the "Decide"
sidebar slide outs again.
The simulation will advance by the number
of weeks of your choosing or until the project
has been successfully completed.
You may also choose to end your project
early, but be aware that this action may
result in not meeting project targets.Review Project Rating
At the end of the simulation, you will receive a total score broken down by
scope, schedule, resources, and team process.Play Again
Decide if you want
to play the same

start a new
scenario.
