After the approval of my supervisor on the suggested structure " table of content." I can start writing the entire thesis. Supervisor's suggestions: I think the review is ok. But it is not far enough for a PhD thesis. In your review and article, you haven't discussed and given any positioning model, algorithm and system. You should think about the following questions. 1) What is requirements of location-based service (LBS ) in smart factory? You should give several application scenarios. For example, positioning of vehicles, persons, WIPs, ... And how this location information can be used to schedule the production, arrange the material distribution, etc. 2) What is the IT framework of LBS? LBS is not an isolated system. It is part of the enterprise information system in smart factory. It belongs to one type of IoT (Internet of Things). So what is the relationship between LBS and other information system such as MES (Manufacturing execution system )? 3) What is the key technologies of LBS? And what is your research achievements about these technologies? Model? Algorithm? It should be noted that 2-3 technical innovations are necessary for a Phd thesis. For example, improving the algorithm, designing a new system… 4) What is the system implementation and practice of your LBS system? For example, how to use it in smart factory? Case study .
