Overview The current situation in the university nowadays with the problem of no-accurate communication has been existing, and there are ways to eradicate these issues. The modern world students now are crazy about mobile application devices. Students services is the most important department for students as it provides support for students local and international helping them interact with other students and feel comfortable as they pursue their carrier while studying. The main reason for this student's services application is for lack of communication I have witnessed in the college and this application can make it easy for whole college to communicate and increase efficiency. One of the problem students facing is the consultation hour with the lecturer, which has been a barrier for student to meetup and discusses important things they need to know about the lectures or the areas they are not clear about in the process of the course. Finding lecturers during their lecture time is not the best time because it causes distraction to the student in the class. Another problem that has needed to notice is the absence of lecturers not able to make it to class, whereby some student get information about this and others don't get to know. Been using the style of texting each students or have a group chat in Facebook and its affecting other student that are not social media minded. This mobile application will help and enhance the university system provide announcements for instance when a lecturer will not make it for the lecture or on medical leave or any emergency, a notification will be sent to all the student taking that course as early as possible. Tracking lecturers is a hard task during classes for consultation hours so it will bridge that gap by providing lecturers to show consultation (Tutor) hours and make arrangement on where to meet and time for consultation, this might as well be group consultation. Administrative Staff can post announcements as well for instance like the fees announcement, holidays, vital information's; ensuring information is passed across to students. Also it will enable the student to create a study group with one another, helping each other with courses that find it difficult. 2. Aim To eradicate the miss communications, help student with their courses and time management by creating a Student Services mobile application. 3. Objectives Development - To develop a student's services mobile application by using android studio and SQLite server. - To develop a system that contains function as to find tutors, consultation hour, and announcement. - To create a system that contains database function in order to store data and information. Time Saving - Booking consultation hour with the tutor and lecturer. - To be informed of information's of class cancellation, lecturer medical leave etc. Advance work efficiency - To improve the services system provided for the students efficiently by using the mobile application to get information passed across. -To navigate through the mobile application and access directly to information they want and it improve the management work performance. Reliability - To be measure with satisfaction by ensuring that all function and sub-function are working correctly and ensure that there are no errors. - Providing new updates to the system as the newest version of OS, this makes the users to have confident and rest assure of using the mobile application - To test each functions and sub-functions stage by stage, and if found any error can be fix as soon as possible. - To improve the functions and sub-functions by adding new interesting functions for users. - To check regularly for errors that is been occur, for the betterment of the management.
