For this task, students are required to look into the role of a Marine Superintendent, related to the process of inspection and assessment of a second hand vessel’s worthiness, prior to it’s purchase. The student then assumes the role of Marine Superintendent and writes a report to his Technical Manager, advising him on the purchase of the vessel.
