• Each team will be responsible to design a Tripod.
• Each person in your group will be responsible to draw minimum 3~4 parts.
• Everyone in the group will be responsible to do one sub-assembly for his/her parts
and the final assembly is required.

Presentation Requirement
Presentation: July 14, 2017, in class.
Selected team will do the presentation (I will draw from the pool in the class).
Each team will have 4-5 mins for presentation and 1 min for questions. I will
try to run 20~25 presentations in the class.
All students in the selected team are required to present with your team members.
Certain deduction will be applied for the absence.
Getting Started (as early as possible)
Contact your teammates and kick off the project ASAP. (You will receive an email
from me about your group with all members. I will finish the group sign-up by
June 5th).
Download and fill out the EGR120 2017 Summer Final Design Project Team Form.
Turn the signed form in by June 30, 2017 (in the class).EGR120: Engineering Graphics and CAD, Summer 2017 16
Final Design Project
Due Date: July 13, 2017, at 9 AM.
Each team must have only one final zipped file for submission.
The zipped file should include all parts, sub-assemblies, final assembly, and
final report (presentation file).
Naming Convention
Zipped file: Group#.zip
Parts: Group#_Your Last Name.CATPart
Sub-assembly: Group#_Your Last Name.CATProduct
Final assembly: Group#.CATProduct
Presentation: Group#.ppt
Note: Make sure include your group number in the naming of all the files.
