The written Live Text assignment will be a research paper conducted by you. The topic will be of your choice but must be on a topic discussed in the course.  TOPIC: 

Making An Extra Mortgage Payment Once A Year Can Save You Thousands Of Dollars In Interest.

The oral assignment will be a 10 minute PowerPoint presentation presenting your research paper to the course. All presentations must be submitted via Livetext by the start of class on the first day of presentations listed in the course schedule.

Written Project

General Directions: You will need to submit a written project in this course. The topic of your paper must be a specific topic discussed in class and should also relate to the general ideas and concepts we are discussing in class. You will be graded (primarily) on the content of your paper and the math included and demonstrated in the paper.

Remember, this is a math class, you paper will need to include a significant amount of mathematics discussed and demonstrated in your paper. The more math you can include the better your grade will be. I will not focus on spelling, punctuation or grammar (as much). You may also include any graphs, charts or

tables that you can find that are relevant for your paper. The written project should be at least 4 pages in length (12 font). You will need to cite all references using APA citations and include a works cited page. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.

Remember: Each project is very different! How you include math in your paper will be determined by your topic, the numbers and percentages found during your research. Some topics will relate more specifically to the formula's and examples

we are discussing in class.
