The ABCD University at the cutting edge of cultural and technological change. As you would expect from a university for the 21st century, ABCD boasts an impressive range of computing and multimedia resources. We currently have over 3,000 computers serving more than 19,000 student and staff users. Facilities range from full-scale computing laboratories and the fully networked Learning Resource Centres, to individual computers in users' offices. In addition, the majority of student residences are wired to our university network. The goal, therefore, is to ensure that the ABCD systems work for the benefit of all students and staff. Currently, ABCD is in the process of design and plan ABCD's strategic direction for IT systems, and develop the systems in line with that strategy.
