Wedding project management
1. Project management is the discipline of planning, organizing, securing and managing
resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
It is sometimes conflated with program management, and a group of related and
somehow interdependent projects.
2. Wedding is a project. It applies the same concept. Same basic project management
processes will be used here.
Briefly, describe how the elements of organising a wedding use the same basic project management
processes of any business setting.
For example, in terms of:
time and budget constraints
scope/quality constraint
managing and coordinating communication between different shareholders
meeting objectives and achieving milestones according to agreed deadlines
managing different sub-projects
project phases running simultaneously or independently
