Explain the development of psychology as a discipline. 2. Outline the importance of research and ethics for psychology. 3. Assess the specified schools of psychology 4. Engage in self-reflection Requirement Reflect on the content covered in this module and provide a summary as well as an overview of your thoughts on psychology and your progress through the year. Include in your essay a descriptive summary of research, theories, methods and figures you have covered in the module through the year. This should be a selective summary, highlighting why you selected the parts you did. Exercising the critical thinking skills that you developed over the year, engage in a critical self-reflection, ensuring to include commentary on how your thoughts about psychology may have changed and any biases you may have explored in yourself or in the discipline as a whole. Engagement in the reflection seminars and the module more generally will count towards your mark. All relevant provisions of the Assessment Regulations must be complied with. 3. Extensions to assignment submission deadlines will be not be granted, other than in exceptional circumstances.
