‘The nature and degree of competition in an industry hinges on five forces: the threat of new entrants, the bargaining power of buyers, the bargaining power of suppliers, the threat of substitute products and the intensity of competitive rivaly’ (Porter, 2000)
You are required to:
1. Describe Porter’s Five Forces Industry Competitive tool of Analysis and outline the benefits and drawbacks of using the tool;
2. The majority of governments divide the different economic business sectors into ‘industries’ thereby allowing the government identify which industry contributes most, or least to the country’s economy. For a country of your choice identify and describe five different ‘industries’ within its respective economy.

1. Your assignment should be in a Word document, Font Size 12 (including headings and subheadings), and the font type should be Times New Roman or Ariel, line spacing should be 1.5;
2. Your assignment must be submitted on the CCT cover page. This page is available on Moodle;
3. The assignment should have a minimum of 1,500 words and a maximum of 1,750.
4. As this is an academic assignment you should include examples of referencing and in text citation.
5. Please do not use Wikipedia as a source of reference, also, you do not need to reference your notes or notes from Moodle.
