The company has seen growth rates of 30% during the last few years. However, this growth can only be sustained with careful planning and by ensuring that we provide customers with the products and services that they need. Business strategy Twelve (12) months ago, the senior management team met to formulate the business strategy for the company for the following three (3) years. It is important that all staff understand the importance of this planning process and work to support the business goals of the organisation. Everyone will benefit if we succeed. We need to ensure that the business infrastructure is sound and can support the increased business. We will therefore be: 1. investing in new IT systems to ensure that core systems are effective and to provide new and improved services. 2. looking at e-commerce services and other methods to improve communications with customers, franchisees, agents, suppliers and carriers. 3. looking at ways in which we can make use of new developments and technologies in IT Solutions and associated areas. Market position Management has set the goal of achieving the number fifth (5) market position within mid-sized IT industry over three years. This will be achieved by: 1. increasing the sales effort through existing channels and 2. increasing the number of franchises from 10 to 20.P a g e 2 | 3 A public company? When we make the number five (5) position, it is our intention to become a public company and seek a listing on the stock exchange. All employees will be eligible for generous share options. Acquisitions We also have funds to acquire smaller companies and will be looking for investment opportunities in areas that complement or supplement existing business. New technologies Our strategy requires us to keep up with developments in technologies and to identify commercial opportunities.
