Access Level 1: This is the normal user level which is accessible by everyone. At this level the user can scroll through any Fire, Alert and Fault conditions which are displayed automatically on the front display monitor. A facility is also available allowing the user to gain entry to Access Level 2 by means of his code. Access Level 2: This is the authorized user level which is available to authorized personnel only. Access to this level requires the input of a special four-digit code via the Menu Access buttons on the panel front. On entry, the panel’s SILENCE, RESET, PRINT, FIRE, TERMINATE, DISABLE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENTS and EVACUATE buttons are active and users are able to view fire triggers, alerts, faults, and event history. The Silent button shall allow to mute or decrease the volume of sound equipment and the Evacuate button shall display a clear evacuation path. The function GetEmergency () is started even if there is a false alarm. They awaken everyone on the presence of a change of status on the sensors. The agent will have to wait for a second signal from another sensor before confirming or invalidating the signal. The non-confirmation of the signal by a second sensor will launch the following functions: 1. GetEmergency () 2. Display zone affected and the evacuation paths () 3. GetManuallyReset () Function: GetEmergency () Description: This operation must make sure that after an alert has been generated, the emergency Service must be called automatically, the affected zone and the evacuation paths clearly displayed The agent has to reset manually the system through the remote control or keyboard. Inputs: The alert status generated by the sensor which identifies the smoke or high temperature Source: The input data is read from the sensor’s status. (ON/OFF) Outputs: Alert status = ON (one sensor activated not yet sure if it is an alarm) or OFF the system continues the monitoring in checking if an alert has been generated. Destination: FASAM Central Control and the updating of data base. Requires: Smoke, high temperature detected by the sensor, the alert generated by the agent manually or an unmanned alert (Alert status ON) or Alert status OFF the system shall update the trace events. Pre-Condition: The sensor has to detect the smoke, high temperature or an alert status generated (Alert status ON). Post-Condition: The sensor send an alert to the FASAM Control area. The FASAM should check if others sensors are activated. If so the FASAM should launch an alarm status; others ways the FASAM should call emergency service, display the zone affected, the evacuation path and update the trace events via an inter communication system. The Agent should manually reset the system. Side effect: None. The confirmation of the signal by a second sensor or an operator will launch the following functions: 1. GetEmergency () 2. Display zone affected and the evacuation paths () 3. ActivateShutDownElectrical () 4. ActivateSprinklerSystem () 5. GetHelpl () 6. ActivateNearestIndicators () 7. GetAudibleAlarm () 8. GetDoorsLock () 9. GetFireFigthers () ActivateShutDownElectrical () function will trigger the automatic start of the electrical generator set. Function: GetFireFighters () Description: This operation must make sure that the sequential sensors have been checked under FASAM system conditions and the alarm status set on. The FASAM should display the zone affected and evacuation paths. The system should activate the nearest indicators signs, get an audible alarm, get the doors locked, get help from emergency service, firefighters, police, and ambulance via inter connected system. The FASAM should update the event and restart automatically. Inputs: The alarm status generated by the sequential sensors which confirm the alarm. Source: The input data is read from the sequential sensors. (More than one activated) Outputs: Alarm status = ON (more than one sensor activated) or OFF (Alarm non-confirmed). Destination: FASAM Central Control and the updating of data base. Requires: Alarm status ON delivered by sequential sensors (Alarm confirmed) or Alarm status OFF (Alarm non-confirmed by another sensor) the system will update the trace event and the Agent should reset manually the system which will continue the monitoring. Pre-Condition: The alert status changed into alarm status. (Alarm status ON) Post-Condition: The alarm status set ON, The FASAM should display the zone affected and evacuation paths. The system should activate the nearest indicators signs, get an audible alarm, get the doors locked, get help from emergency service, firefighters, police, and ambulance via an inter connected system. The FASAM should update the event and restart automatically all system. Side effect: none After the fire is extinguished, the technicians pass through several checks and controls before authorizing the start of the system. Each item of Array represent a zone Each 30 seconds read the sensors status if fire is activated and display date, time(hh,mm,ss), temperature and zone. After activate these functions in case of fire The confirmation of the signal by a second sensor or an operator will launch the following functions: 1. GetEmergency () 2. Display zone affected and the evacuation paths () 3. ActivateShutDownElectrical () 4. ActivateSprinklerSystem () 5. GetHelpl () 6. ActivateNearestIndicators () 7. GetAudibleAlarm () 8. GetDoorsLock () 9. GetFireFigthers () ActivateShutDownElectrical () function will trigger the automatic start of the electrical generator set.
