Assessment 3
You are to develop a requirements management plan, quality management plan, cost management plan; and a cost baseline including funding requirements.
These are four separate documents, they need to be reflective of the project described in the selected tender and align to the requirements of the PMBoK and Prince2.
Title Page
Include a title page at the beginning of each assessment item with the following information:
• Student name(include names of all students in group for group assessments – 2, 3 & 5)

• The project domain and name
• The document name (e.g. Charter, Scope Baseline etc.)

You are required to apply your knowledge of project management concepts when developing the four documents mentioned in the criteria below. Make sure you develop the document described as if you were planning the project. Do not submit a report discussing what that document is.

Ensure your submissions are submitted in an appropriate format, are concise, demonstrate clarity of expression, and correct grammar and spelling. Assessments provide the opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills to achieve the required standard. To do this, assessment responses need to be both clear and easy to understand. If not, the University cannot determine that students have demonstrated their knowledge and skills. Assessments will, therefore, be marked accordingly including the potential for 0 (zero) marks where relevant.

Cost Baseline and Funding Requirements Information
You are to provide the cost baseline and the funding requirements using separate tables within a single documents. Please refer to the information provided in the Week 4 lecture materials and any feedback provided on the summary budget in your Charter submission.
If you are utilising the information within your Charter please include a reference to it at the bottom of the documents.
The cost baseline is to be provided against activities on a time line, you must include the total and cumulative total in your submission. The following slide is an example of what is expected:
The funding requirements are to be included in a separate table. Funding is not normally provided at equal time periods but usually when the project passes through predetermined gates. The Funding requirements also include management reserves which are not included in the cost baseline.

The Project Executive has added that both the Department of Roads and Transport and the Mackay Regional Council want to include within the work of this project, a permanent feature to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Land of which the footpath will be build.
The feature does not necessarily have to be on the footpath, however would need to be visible for those using the footpath. The Senior User noted that they cannot represent this user group. As further information is required to understand the requirements relating to this a requirements management plan specifically for this is to be developed for the next Board meeting.
Given the time constraints the Project Board have agreed to the completion of a tailored Requirements Management Plan, which has significantly reduced information than what would normally be required in such a plan and concentrates specific information sort by the board members. Task
