Part 1: Business opportunity analysis: (2 pages – 500 words)
• Analysis explains the key elements of a good business opportunity and uses this framework to assess and compare the quality of the business plans. The analysis clearly states the strengths and weaknesses of each plan compared to the framework and other plans. • Report provides at least two (2) specific and actionable improvement suggestions for each plan.
• The improvement suggestions clearly address the weaknesses identified in the analysis of strengths and weaknesses.
• Analysis framework includes at least one element that is from an external source other than the Rogoff (2017) text (e.g. another text, academic literature etc.). You can read the Rogoff text at this link: http://elib.peaceland.edu.ng:8383/greenstone3/sites/localsite/collect/peacelan/index/assoc/HA SH831f.dir/doc.pdf
• For each plan, one (1) improvement suggestion explicitly refers to external sources (e.g. industry data, academic literature etc.) which is NOT already referred to in the business plan.
Part 2: Overall analysis (1 page – 250 words):
• Analysis clearly articulates the comparative strengths and weaknesses of the plan and recommends improvements consistent with detailed analysis of each section. • In relation to the recommendations, the analysis:
1/ Prioritises the recommendations for the plan (i.e. advises in the order they should be completed); and
2/ Provides an indication of the costs versus benefits of implementing each recommendation. • Overall analysis identifies one partnership opportunity for the plan. This might be: - A relevant start-up incubator; - A manufacturing partner; - A marketing collaborator; etc.
(For example, the Harbour Bridge Climb might partner with a restaurant near the foot of the climb to cross-promote the businesses). The analysis should name the specific partner organisation(s) and explain how the partnership would be beneficial for both organisations.

Please note that:
***Part 1 (Business Opportunity Analysis) uses 4 business plans given (business plan 1.pdf; business plan 2.pdf; business plan 3.pdf; business plan 4.pdf) but in order to complete this part, you just need to read their business opportunity section (meaning that you don’t need to care about other sections of these business plans such as: sales and marketing strategy; operational strategy or financial plans)
***Part 2 (Overall Analysis) only uses 1 business plan which is “business plan 1.pdf” but you need to read the whole business plan 1 (Motor Care) to complete this part.
