This needs to be written using referencing with reference to issues in the industry selected. 2. The concept and solution (do not repeat the UI diagrams from Assignment 1) The concept and the solution should be an outline and a textual summary of the wireframes. Including links to the problem statement and references, Perhaps find a use case from the industry which can support you claim of a solution and the concept. 3. Key features of the Desktop Application Core functionality of the solution, again taken as a summary from the wireframes. Would recommend a table to present this information and if appropriate break down by screen and key features. Then provide a summary of the features by outlining the top x features. Think of an iPhone specifications but there are several key features marketed. Remember to include the benefits of these features to the consumer. Again try and link to references. 4. Business case For the Business Case, as the rest of the document covers most of the other sections of a traditional business case, I would focus on the cost benefit analysis. So the benefits outlinesd in the key features, quantify and the compare to the anticipated costs. 5. Target audience Stakeholder analysis. Identify the stakeholders and their influence. 6. Strategic alignment within the organization's business and IT strategies How does this align with the organisations business and IT strategies. Take a few of these. This is a link back into the industry and your research to determine trends for the organisation and IT. 7. Value proposition and other benefits In its simplest terms, a value proposition is a positioning statement that explains what benefit you provide for who and how you do it uniquely well. Infrastructure requirements including 8.1. Development platforms Outline which development platforms the application will work on. Linux, Microsoft, Apple etc. 8.2. Coding languages and tools Which language and tools will be used to develop the application. 8.3. Use of cloud services Will cloud services be used and how. 9. Software design, development and testing strategies How will the software be design, development and tested. Look into the different development methodologies (Waterfall,Agile, SCRUM) etc. 10. Internationalization for a global market How will the application be expanded to compete in an international market? If not why not? 11. Social media integration strategies How and why will the application be linked or integrated into social media. Look at social media API strategies to determine if there is anything relevant for your application. 12. Risk management - privacy, security, confidentiality, ethical issues etc. Develop a risk profile for your application and identify the major risks. 13. Deployment and integration strategies How will this be deployed and integrated into other applications. 14. User acceptance and change management How will you validate user acceptance and manage changes within the development and post development. Link back to number 9. 15. Legacy systems 15.1.
