Nicholas_Giamarino_Assignment#1 Part 1 Product Description We are building an application that can be used for dog walking services. The product
will be created for the people or businesses who own and operate dog walking services
and for the people who own dogs and are looking for people to exercise their dogs with
total peace of mind.
Mission Statement We will be providing a web product for all people or businesses who want to have
a multidisciplinary web option to personally connect with and serve their perspective
and ongoing 4 legged clients. This product will cater to those in the dog walking
business as well as and their clients who consider their canine companions part of their
family. Unlike traditional dog walking sites, this application is being especially designed
for those who are seeking alternative ways to exercise their pups with the same
supervision and feedback that they would receive from a nanny cam for their own
children. Compared to pre-existing websites that offer these services, my product will
provide video feedback of the dog walking session as well as the GPS trail that the
walker took with the dog. Additionally, the site will allow for feedback from the dog
owner as responsive to the video and GPS information collected upon each walk and
sent back to the owner so that sessions can be further improved to further refine the
owner’s needs and wishes. This product was developed in response to a demand heard
by many dog owners that they wished a product existed that would provide evidence of
1
exactly what a dog walker does when they take responsibility for your best four legged
friend.
