This assignment should be 3000 words long. Students are expected to carry out a significant literature review and both to critically evaluate and synthesise it as they see fit. Assignment should be word processed and structured in essay format (‘Introduction’; ‘Main Body’; and ‘Conclusion’).
Your assignment should include at least ten references to the literature. The assessment criteria which will be used, is included as Appendix 2.
Due – 5pm, Friday of week 13: students will be required to submit their assignment via Turnitin, which will confirm the originality of the work and ensure that appropriate referencing standards have been followed. The Turnitin link for this assignment can be found in the Blackboard Learn area for the module entitled ‘CW2 Submission’, further guidelines will be provided during class.
Assignment Feedback
Students will be provided with written feedback normally within two weeks of submission of an assignment. This feedback will be returned electronically in written format by the tutor via Turnitin and possibly email.
Feedback will be given on an oral presentation in the five-minute period after the presentation. Students will be encouraged to explore and discuss ways of completing their assessment prior to submission to ensure formative feedback is received
Other opportunities for Feedback
All Classes Students will be asked about their understanding of the material discussed in class. When answers are given, students will be able to assess their own understanding of the material. Students can clarify their understanding with the lecturer in class at the time, or in their own time with reference to reading material.
All Classes Students will receive formative oral feedback on their answers to case studies and other exercises in class.
Seminars – Weeks 3 and 6 These seminars are protected time for groups to work on their consultancy projects with facilitation by lecturer including feedback on group proposals and progress
Seminars – Weeks 5 and 7 Students will receive oral feedback on completion of each diagnostic meeting.
Seminars – Weeks 10, 11 and 12 Lecturer available for meetings to discuss coursework with individuals or groups – this will include written feedback on CW drafts (either CW 1 or 2) provided they are submitted by 5pm of the previous Friday (this can be extended into week 12 for CW2)
