You need to come up with product or service ideas to solve the problem you have defined in the previous assessment item. This may be a completely novel solution or an improvement to an existing solution. Tasks for your Assessment Item 2 : Task 1: Problem definition (2) Reiterate your problem statement and scope from Assignment 1 as well as the evaluation criteria and the assumptions / constraints related to the criteria. You are able to refine your problem definition further from your previous assignment. Task 2: Background research (6) Search for information about existing solutions, including proposed solutions, to the problem you have defined from reliable sources. Provide in-text references (citation) in this section clearly to show where you found the information. Task 3: Ideation (3) Propose multiple ideas with brief descriptions to solve the problem from Task 1. These ideas have to be your own and original. If necessary, clarify how your idea is different to existing solutions. Task 4: Selection of idea (1) Select one of the ideas you have proposed and explain why you have chosen the particular one over others. Support your argument. Task 5: Stakeholders (6) Identify and provide a list of stakeholders who would be directly impacted by your solution. List impacts (harms and benefits) to major stakeholders from your solution.
