Projected benefits by assessing the effectiveness and evaluating the risks of the strategy, analyzing and providing rationale for supporting the strategic direction of the organizations. There are many benefits to the implementation of an intergrated IS system. Some of the general benefits of an integrated system includes having data in one central location, reduction in operating cost resulting in increase in revenue potential, demographic information, increased accessibility, attraction of different market, accuracy, real time data updates and better interaction with donors. QQTV can also cater to those donors that are part of a younger generation that prefer to do all business online Some of the risks associated with the system could include technical difficulties, security threats and loss of employees that could not transition. The technical difficulties can include the server breaking down, maintenance issues, standard user error and internet provider issues. Security threats include hackers, phishing emails, viruses and any other event that can allow outsiders to gain access to all the donors information. The final risk, it’s a technical risk but a risk that businesses take when implementing major change. Though by the description most employees have the skills to adjust to the system, when a major change happens in business, many times there are employees that can’t handle the transition. Other risks include project size, project structure and experience with technology. Technical requirements (hardware, software, and other equipment) to support the integrated IS strategy In order to establish the integrated IS strategy, the organization must have a clear understanding of the technical requirments that are needed. These requirements included hardware, software and any other equipment needed by the users. The hardware that needs to utilized Motherboard, Central Processing Unit (CPU), Random Access Memory (RAM), Power Supply, Video Card, Hard Drive (HDD), Solid-State Drive (SSD), Optical Drive and Card Reader. The purpose of the website would be to track the details of cash and in-kind donation by various donors. The website includes a primary page where QQTV staff will determine what type of donor they are trying to log. From there depending upon the previously chosen category the user would be directed to a new page. The individual page would give input options for the cash amount, donor name, address and date of donation. This information always QQTV to determine membership eligibility, where to send the magazine and the renewal date. The corporate page would have the same information that is listed above and additional places to include “in-kind” donations. The “in-kind” donation information includes fields for the description of the item, quantity and cash value. After all the information is entered for each donor the information can be saved in the databases. The website will increase ease of use, more efficiently tracking of donations and will allow for QQTV to focus on more markets to obtain donors.
