Task 1 : 300 words
Research the definition of both Deductive Inference and Inductive Inference and give 2 examples of each. Use at least 3 different sources so as to have a good understanding. Write at least 300 words on each and list your sources in a Bibliography at the end.
Task 2 :
Use the internet to carry out some independent research, investigate possible areas in IT and Computing where you think there may be potential for a future project.
I want you to write 200 words about Microsoft hololen here.
Task three:
I have attached a research paper “LASSO”. Please read that and write a review of 500 words. The review should cover:
• Who is the author/s? • Why was the document produced? • In what context was the document produced? • What are its underlying assumptions? • How well supported and convincing is its arguments?
Task four: I don’t need presentation . I needs the refrences and 200 words
This tutorial exercise is assessed and is to be completed in the tutorial session. In groups of 3 or 4, use the internet to find as many references as you can on the Turing Test (up to a maximum of about 20). Write down the reference and write a line or two on what aspect of the Turing Test the reference is about. You may want to divide the references up and take about 5 each. Once that is completed compile a 5 to 10 minute presentation on the information you have found and present it to the class. List all the references at the end of the presentation in Harvard style. Your presentation skills will be assessed by your tutor and marks will contribute to your ePortfolio marks. Write an individual assessment in about 200 words, as to the difficulty, or not, and the usefulness of the tutorial. The presentation, together with references (this should be saved in PDF format), and the individual assessment is to be placed in your ePortfolio.
Task 5: Diagram below ; 500 words atleast
a) First, describe the operational function implied by each of the symbols in the flowchart.
b) Second, describe a test strategy for this program; this should include numbers you might use and the expected response if these numbers were used. This should apply to the operational function of the symbols where necessary.
c) Third, what are ‘boundary valve conditions’ and how would you test for these.
d) Draw an example of a test schedule table demonstrating the testing regime. This table should include the following fields: Test No, Date, Values A B & C, Expected output, Actual Output, Comments. You can demonstrate this with any numbers but it must include possible ‘boundary value numbers’
