Topic 5: CAPM for JB Hi-Fi Estimate the required rate of return for JB Hi-Fi using CAPM. Students must provide detailed step-wise calculations. Information • Identify the topic you are allocated in the “presentation schedule” file. • Look through the description of the topic in the “presentation topics” file. • Gather and organize material on the topic (Bloomberg Terminals should be one of the sources) • Prepare power point slides (include screenshots of information from Bloomberg terminals and a reference list at the end of the presentation) • Submit a hard copy of the presentation to the assessor on the day of your presentation. No reports are required. • You will have a maximum of 7 minutes for presentation (the assessor will stop you at 7 minutes). Gather material that would fit in a 7 minutes presentation. • Go through the marking criteria to see how your presentation will be assessed. In addition to the content, you will be assessed on the organization, voice, pace, audience engagement, etc. Make sure you give enough attention to all these criteria. • The date, time and venue of your presentation is available in the "presentation schedule" file. • Dress code for presentation: business or smart casual.
