• Students are to provide an overview of the chosen area and assess how it would be utilised by the organisation as a means of enhancing business practice.
Students are to demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter by:
• Defining relevant terms, theories and concepts presented in topics 6-8.
• Showing an ability to utilise the specific contextual factor chosen, explain key details and assess its impact on the relevant firm or organisation
• Showing an ability to explain major domestic and international contextual factors and how they affect business structures and strategy.
• Demonstrating a breadth and quality of research by using a minimum of 15-18 academic sources.
• Correctly using the APA in text referencing system to correctly citing academic sources.
1. Overview - a short description of the contextual factor that provides general information about it, but there is no need to give extensive details.
2. Assess - to judge or decide the importance of the contextual factor.
3. Enhance - to improve the quality, effectiveness or outcomes of the business by using the contextual factor.
4. Practice - the actual application or use of the contextual factor in a business setting.
