Highlevel design of knowledge management driven technology-based initiatives like corporate knowledge directories, process documentation, datawarehouses, BI, process automation, workflow; and document management are discussed. Further, knowledge management system technologies including intranets and portals, knowledge management system life cycle, organisational cultural issues in knowledge management projects, knowledge management system deployment and evaluation are also covered. A study tour to explore various implementation of knowledge management in the real industry may be incorporated in this subject.
