Criteria
Demonstrated thorough understanding of the field of research: Integration and originality in the selection and handling of relevant theory to then build and justify well developed analysis on the basis of understanding research field. Wide range of current and relevant sources integrated in systematic way to support that analysis.
Evidence of ability to carry out formal research through the design & implementation of a focused analytical research study : Report presented with framework and overall logical development from context of knowledge available from former researchers in the field, research method, data analysis and conclusions appropriate for offer for presentation in reputable academic journal
Familiarity with the relevant research literature, as evident in the Literature Review, of previous research in the field and the linkages between the research and the group's study: Development of ‘story’ as guided by supervisor in three or more sub-topic areas from the research contribution of previous researchers in the field without plagiarism and to publishable standard for offer to reputable academic publishers
Proper use and justification of methodologies, techniques and or processes employed
Quality of analysis of findings in reaching useful findings: Soundly justified conclusions drawn. Literature review used as foundation for interview questionnaire then trends from interview data used in an insightful way to reach conclusions useful to academic and/or business environment.
