I need to participate in this discussion and give my idea about the movie "keep your eye open" you have to watch tv and tell if you are agree or disagree and why? (make sure to use examples from the movie and academic sources to support your argument) The documentary "Keep your Eyes Open" depicts some so-called 'adrenaline junkies', that is, those who use their leisure time pursuing extreme sensations. A couple of things came to mind while watching the movie: the first refers to the concept of flow and how level of s****** and commitment is fundamental to achieving such a state, particularly when sensations involved are so extreme. The second refers to the concept of serious leisure, and how leisure can become more than just a past time and being feelings of identity, belonging and even become a profession (for the lucky ones! :-)). So what I'd like the group to discuss is how the concept of flow OR of serious leisure is depicted in this documentary (provide examples), compare with what we have learned about these concepts, and discuss how they can have a positive or negative impact on someone's health and wellbeing (make sure to use examples from the movie and academic sources to support your argument).
