Group Assignment Instructions Objectives of this group assignment: • Be able to prepare detailed information necessary to complete a limited Statement of Advice (SoA) • Demonstrate generic knowledge of the Australian and global investment environments, together with specialist knowledge in the areas of superannuation, financial planning, securities, managed investments and insurance • Demonstrate specialist skills required for interaction with financial planning clients • Demonstrate understanding of financial planning activities and legal compliance requirements • Apply critical thinking, problem solving and presentation skills and demonstrate the acquisition of a comprehensive understanding of financial planning Submission details: • Due date: see unit guide or moodle site • Weight/Value: 25% • Details of task: see appendix A • Submission requirements: see appendix A • Assessment coversheet: Work submitted for assessment must be accompanied by a completed and signed assignment coversheet. Applications for an extension of time allocated to an in-semester assessment task must be made by completing the application form at www.monash.edu.au/connect/assets/docs/forms/insemester.pdf. The application form must be submitted to the Chief Examiner for consideration no later than two University working days after the due date.
