Topics to choose from for your resource include: ? How to Recognise and Market an event to your Target Market ? Incorporating sustainable practices into event planning and delivery ? Funding Sources – managing your events financial wellbeing ? How feasible is your event … and why you really need to care ? Ethics – you’ve heard about it, are you applying it? ? Choosing and keeping the right Event Team The goal is to create a resource that supports learning, either through face to face delivery or self-directed learning that inspires engagement with the process. Aspects to consider as inclusions in your resource development are: ? Summaries of important concepts, processes or ideas; ? Case studies or Snapshots of practice; ? Reflective questions and space for the learner to respond; ? Direct learners to additional information or useful resources; ? Regardless, remember the task is one that is framed by the content, not just the delivery so ensure the PDR is well informed and supported by theory and practice, not just visual appeal.
