Faculty of Engineering and IT Infrastructure Management () Climate Change Resilience Assignment Brief Aim: To assess the vulnerability and resilience of a particular infrastructure to climate change. Brief To conduct a survey of infrastructure managers to establish the vulnerability/resilience of a particular transport infrastructure in your own country if possible and prepare a research paper on the findings. Synthesis: Critically review the literature on the effect of climate change on the particular infrastructure. Discuss the condition of your chosen infrastructure. To modify the questionnaires attached to suit the particular infrastructure in question. To conduct a survey of between 35-40 practitioners working in survey field. Analyse the results of the survey and present the main findings in tabular and graphical form. Discuss the survey findings against the published work and arrive at conclusions and recommendations. Submission The submission must include: • Introduction. • Background studies and description of the infrastructure and importance to countries development. • Methodology • Survey results and analysis.. • Discussion, Conclusions and recommendations. • List of references. • Any appendices The submission must be in the form of single column research paper of no more than 20 pages cover to cover. The submission of the electronic survey data and final report is by the 31st of July 2017.
