Narrated PowerPoint Presentation (15 minutes duration) worth 45% of total mark for the Unit. Individually present a brief case study of a form of violence and abuse to which you will apply an intervention strategy within a narrated PowerPoint. Evelyn's Story (a video narrative recorded for students) will be the case study students will work with for this assignment. There are a number of components that are expected within this assignment task and that will align with the assessment criteria. These include: • Provide a brief overview of a violence and abuse scenario • Present an intervention (practice response) strategy • Identify a rationale or argument for the intervention (practice response) strategy • Ensure that the intervention (practice response) strategy is informed and supported by theory • Identify that you have considered the personal, cultural and structural levels and dimensions of gender and intersectionality in your intervention (practice response) strategy 2. Small Group Component of Assignment Task - In addition to the above, the narrated PowerPoint should identify the ways in which your small group discussions have informed your thinking and decision-making (see the additional notes below for further information about these small groups). A number of PowerPoint slides will need to address the following: • A list of group members present for the small group discussion at the Intensive (This can be presented in a slide before or after the references slide and like the reference slide does not need to be narrated). • A summary of what was discussed at the small group meeting during the Intensive • Information about what you have chosen to take on (i.e. how the group discussion informed your final narrated PowerPoint presentation). This should include how your awareness of your own personal and professional positioning has informed your approach to processing the group discussion and the way it has informed your approach to addressing issues of violence and abuse
