Assessment 2 Social media is changing the very nature of many crises. Organisations now face new challenges in comparison to 10-15 years ago when it comes to dealing with a crisis. Using both theory and practical analysis, write a report for your CEO on how social media has changed crisis management with reference to a pre-social media case study and a recent case study ( March 2016 onwards*). Guideline The crisis must be written as a client facing document with clear sections and subheadings and should include screen shots of earned, shared and owned media to illustrate your assessment of the situations. Please note that screenshot words are not included in the word count. Please note there will be a 5 mark reduction for exceeding the ‘range of the word-limit plus or minus 5%’.* ie. Word count for main body of the report must fall between 1425 and 1575 words. In Business English using standard sections, in active voice, in 12 point on 1.5 line spacing in Arial or similar. Please note you cannot use the Westminster attacks of March 2017 as your case. 1.You need to ANALYZE the changes between now and pre-social media by assessing what happened in each case. 2.Probably best to use footnotes in your work - These are needed to prove the source of your data, the same role played by a bibliography in an academic essay. 3.You could go as far back as you like even to the Titanic, but practically, as the question suggests it might be easier to do one from the last 10-15 years?
