introduced in the workshop which will form the basis for a 10% assessment. You must
choose two of the four weekly activities to submit for Assignment Two. Both options should
be submitted together in one document by the due date. If you submit more than two, only
the first two in the submitted document will be marked. Each option is worth 10% so, in
total this assessments accounts for a maximum of 20% towards your final grade.
Option One (Week 4): Reflect on and analyse your work in a team (10%)
If you select this option as one of your two 10% activities for Assessment 2, you will be
required to provide a reflection and analysis of your work in a team. In the week 4
workshop, you will be given an activity that requires you and your peers to work as a team
(if you cannot attend the week 4 workshop, you can choose to reflect on and analyse a
recent experience of teamwork in your workplace or an organisation you are involved with).
Your reflection should be no more than 400 words.
To accompany your teamwork reflection, you must construct a critical analysis of your
teamwork experience. Your critical analysis should be 500-750 words in length and use at
least 2 scholarly sources. Your analysis could include:
● Justification for aspects of your teamwork experience (where evidence can be found
to support your experiences)
● Questioning of aspects of your teamwork experience (where evidence contradicts
your experiences)
● Recommendations for managers responsible for managing teams, based on the
analysis of your teamwork experience
Your argument should be followed by an accurately APA 6th formatted reference list.
Option Two (Week 5): Design and evaluate a Workplace Wellness Programme (10%)
If you select this option as one of your two 10% activities for Assessment 2, you will be required to design a Workplace Wellness Programme. Your Workplace Wellness Programme
can be presented however you choose but must be no more than one A4 typed page and
should include information about the components included in your programme and how the
programme will be implemented and/or monitored. You should use a range of scholarly and
non-scholarly sources to inform the design of your programme.
To accompany your Workplace Wellness programme, you must construct an evidence-based
argument that provides support for your programme. Your argument should be 500-750
words in length and use at least 2 scholarly sources. Your argument could include:

Your argument should be followed by an accurately APA 6th formatted reference list.
Option Three (Week 6): What is your Management Style?
If you select this option as one of your two 10% activities for Assessment 2, you will be
required to complete two different managerial or leadership style questionnaires. The non-
assessed component for this option is to provide the names of the questionnaires and your
overall results (it is not necessary to include the full questionnaire or list of questions).
Having completed these questionnaires answer the following two questions.
a. Which of these two questionnaires best describes what you believe to be your
managerial or leadership style. Why is this?
b. What do you think are the dangers and advantages of using such questionnaires in
the workplace, for example, for recruitment or promotional purposes?
Your argument should be 500-750 words in length and you should use at least 2 scholarly
sources to support your answer for Question B. Your argument should be followed by an
accurately APA 6th formatted reference list.
Option Four (Week 7): Head-hunt LinkedIn candidates and analyse your selection (10%)
In the Week 7 workshop we will be exploring LinkedIn profiles as a means of selecting
employees. If you select this option as one of your two 10% activities for Assessment 2, you
will be required to “head hunt” (i.e. identify) 4 potential candidates from LinkedIn to fill a
position as Career Advisor at Massey University. You must find, provide the name of, and
provide the link to the LinkedIn profile of 4 candidates. You should rate these candidates,
from 1 (being your most preferred candidate) to 4 (being your least preferred). You must
also provide 2 to 3 sentences per candidate explaining why you have chosen them.
To accompany your LinkedIn head hunt, you must write a critical analysis of your LinkedIn
selections. Your critical analysis should be 500-750 words in length and use at least 2
scholarly sources. Your analysis could include:
● Justification for aspects of your selection decisions (where evidence can be found to
explain the choices you made)
● Questioning of aspects of your selection decisions (where evidence contradicts the
choice you made)
● Recommendations for managers responsible for recruiting employees, based on the
literature you have read
Your argument should be followed by an accurately APA 6th formatted reference list.
