(0-2.4) The introduction barely prepared the reader for what was to come and rather was a weak attempt at introducing BPM or the author’s consulting firm. A key opportunity to impress the reader was essentially missed here. The introduction was satisfactory but could have been enhanced with more carefully crafted writing around the rationale for the report and providing a hook to get the reader interested in continuing. (3-3.4) A very good introduction which provided a clear rationale for the report and its contents. (3.5-3.9) An excellent introduction surpassing expectations. The rationale for the report was very clear and the reader was well informed as to what was coming and why. The introduction stood out for its cleverly thought (2.5-2.9) through ‘hooks’ to excite the reader into eagerly proceeding through and absorbing the contents of the report. (4-5) Proposed Solution The solution proposed demonstrates very little understanding of the processes, models and concepts required to meet the needs of the client. Several of the key aspects required in the presentation quality of the report (as listed in the brief) were overlooked by the author. This detracted from the report’s ability to inspire and persuade the reader. (5-5.9) The report was satisfactorily presented. Some of the key aspects required in the presentation quality of the report (as listed in the brief) were overlooked by the author which impacted readability and inspiration. (6-6.9) The report was very well presented and took into account all of the quality considerations highlighted in the brief. The report was presented in a way that inspired and persuaded the reader to absorb the information presented, preparing the reader well for the decision-making process. An excellent report which went beyond expectations in terms of presentation quality. (8-10) (7-7.9)
