Introduction:
This report is the demonstration of the cloud computing in a company, which is going to have the technological development. Planning and implementing the new technology in the company named as Hewlett-Packard Enterprise., by reducing the investments in IT department. Researching the feasibility change in the organization from in-house based to cloud computing based environment.
Identifying the components and the objective of the strategic plan for addressing the above concern:
Components of the strategic plan are to focus on the goal, to maintain the cyber security. The purpose of implementing the cloud computing in the company is to make a framework for aligning the resources of IT. It describes the goals and objective of IT which supports the mission of the company (Tarhini, et.al. 2015, p.46). The company’s plan is to convey the mission, vision, goals, and the objective of the IT to the stakeholders and shares the same thing with the external parties. The main objective of this strategic plan is to reduce the investments in the department of the IT, and to research the feasibility change in the organization, molding the company from house-in oriented to cloud computing environment (Chang, et.al. 2015, p.197).
Explaining the innovation, trends, and justification relevant to the statement of the problem:
Innovation is more rapidly increasingly worldwide. The digital innovation includes cloud migration, solution design, and service catalog. Cloud migration helps the company for planning effectively for implementing the cloud computing, for this purpose, there is an adobe pdf which reports the guidelines of adopting the cloud computing (Chang, 2016, p.12). Trends of cloud computing are the Hybrid cloud, cloud users who are running in the multiple clouds, and cloud changes decline overall includes spent tie, expertise, and the security part, IT company plays stronger cloud role centralizing its IT teams (Tian and Xu 2015, p.40).
Identifying the needs of changes:
It is required to change the mode of operation of the given company by moving the applications and the workloads to the cloud of that company. Changing of job role, responsibilities, and required expectations for the given organization needs to be accessed. Service management process is necessary for changing the environment from in-house to cloud computing (Fischer, et.al. 2015, p.16).
Defining the internal change drivers/ influencers and assessment:
Internal changes include people, events, factors, systems and structure of the organization, style of leadership. Influencers: GST which is to be applied for online overseas purchasing, assessment: purchasing over the online overseas platform is more costly compared to local physical store, and impact: there is the loss of revenue if the competitors take more advantage (Seethamraju, 2015, p.480).
Defining the external change drivers/influencer and assessment:
External changes include customer, economy, competition and technology. The mission is to give high-quality services of online products to Australians. The strategy is to reduce the investment in IT projects, its aim to change the environment of the company, changing the cloud computing environment (Babaei, et.al. 2015, p.16).
Developing the current state of the organization:
The Hewlett-Packard Enterprise is among one of the best IT enterprises in Australia, this company balances its work life, it maintains the mentorship of the above-mentioned company, this company has a lot of experience regarding the corporate environment, the Hewlett Packard company is one of the best IT company not only in Australia, but this company works all over the world (Hpe.com, 2017). The HP Company provides traveling facility to their employee, in accordance with the topic cloud computing, the HP company is one of the challenging and leading company all over the world. It embraces the diversity of the company and the deep-rooted culture of the above-mentioned company. It has global scale in the present scenario. It has cultural values respect (Kasemsap, 2015, p.780).
Identifying the critical success factors:
The critical success factors of the HP Company includes: understanding the digital maturity and the baseline of the company after measuring these factors which exist against the metrics of the company. Its motive is to enhance the streamline of the company and also get the technology working environment. Building a roadmap based on the non technological background but based on the strategy of the IT sector. Aligning the business plan consist of 5 years which needs to be broad and comprehensive. A single function is not able to run the plan or the agenda, there needs to be an integration process for supporting the management and planning (De Toni, et.al. 2015, p.333).
Conclusion and recommendations:
From the above context, it is to be concluded that the above-mentioned company needs to change the environment by transforming it from in-house to cloud computing based environment, by reducing the investment in the IT department, for that reason they need to make a strategic plan for implementing the cloud computing system.
Recommendations are based on the limitations of the company, they have to make a strong plan based on the statistics of the company, making a team-leading that team by appointing a right team leader or a suitable project managers, who can make the project a successful one who can make the plan and take the right decision while implementing the cloud computing.
