(1998). Created for Community. Michigan: Baker Academic. The article examines the meaning of faith in Christianity and what’s there believes. The author describes three tools that connect us with this and these tools are Bible, church and culture. The Grenz’s research focuses on how these three works together to help people to engage with Christian theology. It is relevant to my thesis because in Sikhism same type of tools are used like the Holy book of Sikhs “Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji”, Sikh temples and their culture. 2) Grenz, S. J. (1998). Created for Community. Michigan: Baker Academic. The author describes the information that God creates everything and God is the creator of whole universe. To support this content author explains some acts of God that shows that God is free to do everything, God loves humanity. That source of information is used for my topic because in Sikhism the all ten gurus also says same thing that whole universe is made by “Waheguru” mean everything is related to God. 3) Jawandha, M. N. (2010). Glimpses of Sikhism. Sanbun Publishers. The author describes the value of Sikh doctrine and misconception about Sikh religion. The author’s research focuses on how all religions are different, moreover some part from the western world thinks that Sikh religion borrowed from Christianity. Therefore, author explains the difference between both for example in Christianity they think that man is evil and born with sin and they believe in mechanical prayer and incarnation of God. On the other hand, in Sikhism they believe that man comes with pure heart on the earth and they believe in direct of worship of God. 4) Oliphant, J. (2011). AQA Religious Ethics for AS and A2. 2011. The author describes the gives the information that in Sikhism they said that human life on earth is just camping to attain “Waheguru” mean God. To support this content author tells that we have to do good karma if we want to meet God otherwise practicing evils lead back us to in the cycle of rebirth. Therefore, it shows same thing that in Christianity they say that earth is not our home. We came here for doing good thing in which we get place in our real home “Heaven”. 5) Singh, D. A. (March 2014). The Ideal of Service to Humanity in Sikhism. International Journal of Research, 84-86. The article examines the meaning of word “Seva”( voluntary service) in Sikhism to humankind is the way to achieve socio-religious harmony. We have to think above the caste, race, colour etc. In 18th century Bhai Kanahiya offered water to enemies’ in battlefield because he saw his Guru in whole humankind. This article is used for my topic because in Christianity they also believe in serving humankind and share everything with each other for example when Jesus told peoples to share bread with each other. 6) Singh, H. S. (2006). Sikh Leadership: Established Ideals and Diasporic Reality. Teaching Theology and Religion, 9 no. 2, pp, 133-138. The author gives the information about the good leadership in any religion for their development. The author provides a strong theoretical definition from the Guru-prophets(1469-1708) that on that time they established three principles of sikh leadership model- equality, liberty and self- sacrifice. This article is relevant to my topic because same like Jesus who sacrifice his life for us and play the role of good leadership. 7) W. Shipton, E. C. (2013). Worldviews and Christian Education. Trafford Publishing. In this author tells that every religion is different in attaining their goals. The author’s purpose is that to show us what all religions teach us about God for example some said God is triune, some said singular. In the end most times Christian worldview is similar to others. 8) W.O. Cole, P. S. ( 2016). Sikhism and Christianity: A Comparative Study. Springer. The author examines the information about both religions how they practice traditions and what’s their believes. History, geography and their personal experience are main aspects of this. This article is useful for my topic because it shows differences in both religions like in Christianity Jesus is son of living God and saviour of the world but on the other they considered a “saint” and don’t believe that Jesus is God- God is neither born or dead. (W.O. Cole, 2016) (Oliphant, 2011) (W. Shipton, 2013) (Grenz, 1998)
