Option 1:
You are allowed to use your own chosen website for this assignment, subject to prior approval by the facilitator. However, the website should be a company or personal website (not a blog).
Objective
The objective of this assignment is to learn how to analyse a website and propose appropriate SEO strategies to improve the website’s search ranking. So you as the SEO consultant to review the website and to make recommendations that will help achieve the business objectives of the website.
You should divide the entire website into 4 distinct clusters/areas (including the home page). Each member in your group must be assigned to analyse a cluster.

Your task is to analyse the website using any appropriate tools you know and provide an analysis and recommendation report. The report should include, but not limited to the following:
Screenshot of your webpages in the cluster you are assigned to.
Decide/determine what keywords are used in your webpages.
What are the header tags?
Have some images that are used on your webpages and describe what their alt attributes are.
Determine the links to other pages within your site (you don’t have to create the other pages) and the text used in the links.
Find other sites that you would like to link to your site. Explain how you would get these other sites to link to your site. If it is a social media site, you can setup your own account and link it to your website. Pick both social media sites and other websites that have related content to your website.
When another site links to yours you can ask them to use specific text or a specific image for the link-back to your site. What would you put in the text of the link or alt attribute if you are giving them an image link?
Provide some examples of what you think people would search for to find your site. Describe how your keywords and key-phrases in your page would get traffic.
Describe what type of content you would have on your site to keep people engaged and interested in clicking on your links.
Describe the goal(s) of your testing (use either A/B testing or multivariate testing).
Re-design your landing page to address your testing goal(s). Mark out and explain the variations clearly.

As part of your final submission, you are also to complete a reflection report individually that addresses the following questions:
What challenges did you face while doing the assignment and how did you go about resolving them?
What have you learnt about web analytics after completing the assignment?
