Emotional Intelligence is sometimes referred to as emotional quotient (EI or
EQ) and there have been a number of tests created over the years to
measure emotional intelligence, but many have not been empirically
evaluated. For this assignment you will search the internet for information
on emotional intelligence and the Bar-On Emotional Quotient Inventory
(EQI), starting with this website www.mhs.com
Your report will use appropriate headings and ensure the following
questions are answered :
introduce your paper by explaining - using your own words - what
emotional intelligence is and how is it used and any other information
that you think provides needed context for this subject
Is there a relationship between job performance and EI? If so, what is
the correlation and what do you think this suggests?
If you were planning to use EI as part of your selection system, what
steps would you take to ensure that you were able to make reliable
and accurate inferences about job performance?
Include a conclusion summarizing your findings
