Re “Feasiblibity study”: We want groups to evaluate the proposed IT/IS solution that they are suggesting/providing to their client is feasible given their economic, technical and operational resources. For example, if an ES project is to review content management systems available in the market and suggest the one that best meet their client’s requirements, they need to justify that the system they are suggesting to their client is actually suitable for them. They need to evaluate if their client can afford it financially (to purchase/license/rent), do they have required technical infrastructure to use the system and do their users have enough skills to use the system. If something is lacking, is there any chance that can be addressed (e.g., lack of appropriate skills of users can be addressed by providing trainings). The whole idea is to get students to think about different factors (apart from just meeting their client requirements) that they have to consider and plan while undertaking any IT/IS project. There might be a great content management system that perfectly meets the client requirements but it is not affordable to them. There is not point of suggesting such system to the client.
