INTRODUCTION Leadership is the act of providing guidance to the employees in the organization that influence their behavior towards effective achievement of organizational goals(McLean, 2005)Various leadership styles like autocratic, participative, Laissez-Faire, Transactional etc are set up by the companies’ management that helps in achieving their organizational goals(Mahajan, 2011). Other than proper leadership, the cultural environment of the organization also plays a vital role in the success of businesses. Employees in any organization are from different cultures and backgrounds. The management should maintain a balance between such differences by making certain cultural norms and encompass various ethical values in the code of conduct. If in any case, company fails to manage these important issues, it may result in creation of huge discrepancies in the working environment. Different cross culture methods are used by companies in order to maintain strong interactions between people from different cultures in the organization(Kawar, 2012). In this research study, various cross-culture problems faced by Ballemy’ Australia, the leading company in the field of food and beverages in Australia. The company is also the producer of organic infant-formula. The company is facing various leadership problems due to lack of proper leadership style followed by the management. This makes the employees dissatisfied and unable to achieve their target standards results in declining of company’s productivity. These all have bad impact on the reputation of company in Australia. PROBLEM STATEMENT Various cross-cultural issues faced by the one of the food and beverages company Bellamy’s Australia in their workplace. Leadership style followed by the company that result in workplace disruptions and its implication on the performance of employees. OBJECTIVE To study various measures taken by the company in order to avoid such issues. To study various leadership style to be used by company to maintain a positive work environment. RESEARCH MYTHODOLOGY Literature Review Leadership plays a vital role in the performance measurement of any organization. Different leadership styles are being used by different organization. In Australia, every organization includes four main components while constructing any leadership style. This includes Communication, Values, Strategic movement and Emotional Togetherness. In case of Bellamy’s Australia, company fails to incorporate such elements in their leadership styles. This result in lowering the morale of employees thus has a bad impact on the productivity of business. Various leadership theories like Trait approach, behavioral approach, charismatic leadership, ethical leadership etc, should be used to formulate different leadership styles that are suitable for the particular organization. (Rymer, 2008) Cross cultural issues in management is due to differences in the preferences and cultures of employees in the workplace. Such issues arise due to failure of management in maintaining cultural norms in the company. In addition to it, lack of uniformity also leads to cultural issue in the organization which affects the morale of employee in bad manner. In this case, Bellamy’s Australia, fails to identify such factors and there is lack of employee participation in the decision –making of the organization which makes them feel unsatisfied. Proper management of culture as well as leadership should be maintained in the organization to gain high profitability and productivity. (Harrison, & Mckinnon, 1999) Data collection method In order to conduct any research, primary and secondary sources are used to collect data. In this research, in-depth interview method as a primary source(La Beaud, 2015) is used. Proper interview with the employees of Bellamy’s Australia is conducted to study various leadership and cultural issues. Analysis and Interpretation For analyzing the collected data, statistical tools are used and analytical study is done by making tables, charts and graphs in MS Excel based on the affect on employees’ performance due to certain managerial issues of Bellamy’s Australia. FEEDBACK My friend’s project is based on the topic occupational health and safety issues in mining industries. The objective of the study highlights various measures followed by the mining companies in Australia to provide safe environment to their employees.
