NOTES FROM PROJECT In the first meeting, we looked at member’s skill analysis and chose appropriate roles for each member We have chosen topics to work on. My task was to research suitable Mobile technology (Body Warn Camera, Ipad and Software) and LAN & WAN for Kent Police Force. Adam was chosen as team manager as he had an experience in the industry. But Adam and I had problem with in the beginning but after we spoke to our tutor and receive feedback form tutor after first presentation we tried to communicate more effectively After the first presentation we made changes according to feedback and he resigned and Chris R chosen as Adam had some problems to coordinate and communication problems with me and Chris K. I couldn’t attend to one of the meeting to choose product from our researches and I emailed Chris K to print my work and show it to other team members and he said he would but somehow, he didn’t attend to the meeting while he was in the school. Therefore, they decided to choose the product and I was familiar with the product so it was no problem for me to present those products. Adam already had this products ready in his folder in his google drive. It was obvious he wouldn’t even look at my researches which put me off from this project but I managed to complete all my tasks. Even I completed all my task even team gave up presenting LAN&WAN Network. I had the feeling that team members never trusted each other. Especially, Adam and Chris R had too much worry about our commitments even I was joining every meeting and work on my task hard. We had many communication problems in the beginning as we only shared our Gmail addresses and google drive. It would have been very beneficial to share our email addresses and phone numbers if necessary. First time in my life, I wanted to quit from the team after the issues with Adam and feelings from other team members. But I managed to complete all my tasks. We had good presentation. Good teamwork and we managed to complete our project in time. Course Learning (Two Phases) 1. (Planning and Executing) Programmes and Projects Project Management Overview of Phases.
