The final typed draft of your research essay is due on December 9 during class time. It is worth 15% of your total grade. Your essay must demonstrate your ability to write a well-researched topic of your choice in a coherent and logical manner using online and library sources as support. Process 1. Total 8 Mechanics (0.5 marks off for each mistake)  Punctuation is used correctly (periods, commas, question marks, etc.).  Capital letters are used correctly.  Spelling is correct.  Grammar and sentence structure are appropriate.  Five complex sentences are used correctly (underline).  Five compound sentences are used correctly (underline).
