Based on your evaluation, indicate in your opinion, the extent to which the strategies have been implemented, and make recommendations concerning additional areas (with some examples of performance measures) that your organisation could include in their Balanced Scorecard.
Balance score card has 4 perspectives include financial, customer, internal business, and learning and growth perspective.

The objective of this assessment is to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate that they are working continuously throughout the session to achieve the learning outcomes of the unit. Assessed coursework covers both weekly assignments (10%) and weekly in-class questions (5%). Weekly assignments require students to answer the ‘tutorial questions’ as outlined on pages 8-9. Weekly In-class questions require students to answer one (1) question during their registered tutorial class each week. The question for each week will be selected from the list of questions (Review questions, exercises and problems) included at the end of the recommended chapter for each week.
During the session, the tutor will randomly collect students’ HAND WRITTEN answers to 6 weekly in-class questions and 6 weekly assignments. Students must submit both the weekly assignments and their answers to the weekly in-class questions to their tutor during their registered tutorial class. Late submission will not be accepted for marking, i.e., a mark of ZERO will be assigned accordingly. The best 5 out of 6 weekly assignments marked will count towards the 10% weightings (2 marks each assignment x 5 assignments) and the best 5 out of 6 weekly in-class questions marked will count towards the 5% weightings (1 mark each assignment x 5 assignments) for a total of 15%. All submission must also have a coversheet (given at page 10). Submissions without a coversheet will not be accepted.
The weekly assignments and weekly in-class questions are designed to provide an interactive environment in the tutorials in which students will be able to discuss key concepts with each other (individually or in groups), and their tutor, in order to improve their understanding of management and management accounting. Student participation is an essential feature of a successful tutorial. Students are advised to come prepared with the questions for class activities to actively participate in tutorial discussions, through the provision of high quality

answers and insightful comments that lead to further discussion and problem solving. Students will be randomly selected in the tutorials to answer pre-set tutorial questions and will be provided opportunities to fully engage in tutorials on an individual as well as with group work.
ASSESSMENT TASK 2: Case Study/Report:
Group Based Research Report (20%)
Students will undertake a research project on one of the topics listed below. The objective of the project is to provide students an opportunity to further develop their written communication skills in creative ways, express information in a coherent and integrated manner, and to analyse and interpret data about a ‘real’ organisation. This assessment provides students with an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the concepts underpinning this unit through the quality of their work completed for this research project. Students should be able to make sense of the concepts and re-interpret knowledge to provide well-considered responses to questions. This provides further opportunity for students to develop their critical analysis skills, problem-solving skills and creative thinking skills from the assessment tasks.
