In your groups, you are to develop a formal plan for an F&B concept that you have been working on, and present this in the form of a business proposal. You will be presenting the report to a potential investor, in an attempt to convince them to invest $300,000 in your idea.
1. Format of the report
• Introduction – Provide an overview of the F&B concept, clearly stating the unique selling point of the business.
• Discussion (main portion of the report). Describe each section of your restaurant concept. You should plan, design and explain how each section is relevant and integrated across your restaurant concept, including:
o The menu
Explain how the menu integrates with the concept
Description of the type of cuisine
List 3 appetisers, 5 mains and 3 desserts and provide actual in-menu descriptions of these items
Provide a mock-up of the menu in PowerPoint format
Detail the pricing approach and justify your choice of the approach
