Because of this, health care services must undergo evaluation in order to find gaps and opportunities for enhancement. What makes for an effective evaluation of health care services? A measurement of its performance and impact in meeting the needs of patients can give some information. Population needs vary from region to region, so it is prudent to compare different evaluation approaches in order to establish appropriate measurements for your own health care organisation. In this Shared Activity, you will compare two methods for health care evaluation and then share your thoughts on new potential approaches derived from your comparison.
