This research addresses the comparison of qualities and styles of leadership prevalent in UK and Middle-East project management industry. The most important aspect of any project is the role of the project manager. Project managers are involved throughout the entire process of the project. One of the major skills a project manager can have is leadership skills. Leaders however practice different types of leadership styles according to the situation and the circumstances in which they are involved. Culture plays an essential role in project management and leadership practices. This research will provides a clearer understanding of the concept of leadership, leaders' cultural dimensions, and leadership skills prevailing in project management industry between the two regions. This research was carried out in four major steps. Firstly, general information and secondary data was collected to provide essential background for the research. Secondly, primary data were collected with the aid of an online questionnaire, then the most significant factors from both regions were examined. Third, expectations from both regions project leaders were identified, and finally, this study conclude with recommendations for further research.Investigate the impact of culture on project leadership and management style. This could be to investigate the attributes of leadership prevalent in UK industry project management and compare to the style in another country or culture. The work would need to take into account the differences in culture between the countries and the expectations of project workers in each situation. Ideally the student would identify sufficient data from the literature to establish the norms for the UK and then develop a case study company in another culture to establish the differences and make recommendations for improvement based on best practice.
