Intent: Students complete a self assessment of their graduate capabilities with respect to the FEIT Graduate Attributes and AQF level 9 descriptors in knowledge, skills, and application. Weight: 15% Due: 5.00pm Friday 20 March 2015 Submission to dropbox on UTS Online Length: Typically 5 pages Criteria: Includes identification of relevant graduate capabilities from FEIT Graduate Attributes and AQF level 9 descriptors, evidence of the student's current level of attainment, evidence of the level of attainment that is required to on completion of the course, and an outline of proposed activity to meet this level of attainment. Assessment task 2: Literature Review Intent: Students prepare a literature review of their chosen project topic area which is located within the domain of their course/major. The literature review will show evidence of learning from external sources, such as Library research methods programs. Weight: 35% Due: 5.00pm Friday 24 April 2015 Submitted to dropbox on UTS Online Length: Typically 7 pages, including 15 high quality references Criteria: The literature review must adhere to the requirements of the template provided and include evidence of learning outcomes from external sources consistent with the levels of attainment needed to satisfy FEIT Graduate Attributes and AQF level 9 descriptors. Assessment task 3: Individual Project Plan Intent: A project plan will be prepared that will detail what activities the student will undertake, and the evidence that will be provided to verify the student has achieved the required levels of attainment of FEIT Graduate Attributes and AQF level 9 descriptors. The plan will be used as a basis for work to be undertaken in a project subject in a following semester, typically 42003 Engineering Graduate Project.
