Assessment tasks Assessment task title: Individual Case Study Report Due Date: 17/04/2016 Weighting/Value: 30% Details of Task: Students will be required to develop a case study on an organisation interested in internationalisation to a new country • Lend Lease group from Australia going to India http://www.lendlease2015reportonline.com.au/ Note 1 - do a country attractiveness/entry strategy assessment on the country. Note 2 - include the following: a) Historical review of the internationalisation of the organisation and current issues; OR b) If doing a country attractiveness assessment, you must also include a justification for the preferred mode of entry. Guidelines for development of a case study 1. Identify the organisation to be the subject of the case study 2. Develop your case from the people you interview: collect your data; make a rough draft of your case study 3. Begin the case by identifying the key person/persons and describing the issue/s which confronted them. 4. Support your case study with primary and secondary sources. 5. Discuss the alternatives Review the rough draft and collect additional data where necessary Complete final draft 6. Provide 3-4 questions based on the case study which can be discussed in class. 7. Provide solutions to the questions. Word limit: 2000 words. Note the word limit excludes all appendices and references The final submission will consist of three parts, as specified below: ● Part One: The case study (if doing an operational assessment or internationalisation review) OR report covering country attractiveness and proposed entry strategy if looking at these issues; and ● Part Two: 3-4 questions based on the internationalisation case study or country attractiveness/entry strategy report; and ● Part Three: Answers to your own 3-4 questions with sound research support.
